Manga represent Turkey in Eurovision

Manga is representing Turkey at 55th Eurovision Song Contest.

A rock band, Manga, will represent Turkey at the 55th Eurovision song contest with a song “We could be the Same”.

The contest will be held in Oslo, Norway, on May 25 and 29. Turkey’s state-run broadcaster TRT agreed with the Manga to compete in the contest on behalf of Turkey.

Manga with its music as a fusion of alternative rock and hip hop music, won the Best Turkish Act award from MTV Turkey.

And Group won the Best European Act award from MTV Networks Europe in MTV European Music Awards in 2009.

Last year, pop singer Hadise joined the 54th Eurovision with her song “Dum Tek Tek” and came fourth.
